Comparison of Telophase/Cytokinesis in Mitosis and Meiosis

In both telophase of mitosis and meiosis, the chromosomes reach the poles of the cell. The nuclear envelope begins to form and there is one set of MTOCs at each end of the cell. The mitotic spindle now disappears.
Cytokinesis
In both mitosis and meiosis, cytokinesis is the division of the cytoplasm. This stage usually accompanies telophase. Cleavage furrows are formed, separating the cytoplasm making separate cells.
