Comparison of Interphase in Mitosis and Meiosis

Both mitosis and meiosis are preceded by interphase during which the chromosomes are dulpicated. The duplicated chromosomes are in the form of loosely packed chromatin. Within the cytoplasm, the MTOCs have also been duplicated.
