A journey down the Pacific coast exploring the wonders of intertidal neuroscience.

This website is being developed as a co-curricular science supplement program introducing K-12 students and teachers to comparative neurobiology, intertidal and subtidal marine studies. This tour will travel the California Coast from Bodega Bay to La Jolla. We will tide pool, interview neurobiologists, and visit aquariums and museums.

Currently you can browse these pages and get a glimpse of what is being worked on. We plan to add more simple experiments, data from the tide pool sites, and interviews with scientists.

Browse and enjoy. If you have questions or comments please email us 21bio@sidwell.edu

We also have a short list of links to related neuroscience pages.

In October 1997, we presented two posters (scientific papers) at the Society for Neuroscience Meeting in New Orleans in the "Teaching of Neuroscience" Poster Session.
