Tennis and Golf Program (Grades 1-12)
Since 1962, the Tennis and Golf Program stresses
traditional teaching methods and focuses on aerobic exercise, strength, and flexibility development. Based at East Potomac Park on Hains Point, campers take advantage of both the outdoor and air-conditioned indoor courts in the morning. Three afternoons a week, Sidwell counselors accompany campers who would like to swim at the pool located in the park. One-on-one tennis instruction, drills, competitive play, and singles and doubles strategies are featured.
Golf options (Golf equipment is provided):
Clinics – supplement your tennis program by adding on three afternoon golf clinics for a wonderful introduction for beginners to the game of golf.
Golf Combo – for intermediate and advanced golfers, spend half the day improving your tennis game and the other half working on your golf skills.
