Overnight Programs
Sidwell Summer overnight camps offer campers a fun and safe place to try new things and meet new people. Both Riverview and Corsica have small camp communities led by staff who return year after year, many of whom are Sidwell faculty, staff, and alums. Both camps allow students to plenty time on the water – opportunities for sailing, tubing, water skiing and enjoying other waterfront activities that keep smiles on campers faces all week long! Sidwell Summer overnight programs are a great place for kids looking for a first extended overnight experience and those looking for safe space to exercise independence. Transportation is provided between Sidwell and the camp facilities.
Trips / Excursions
Sidwell Summer excursion programs promote learning outside of the traditional classroom through hands-on experiences and immersion in diverse environments. Through Sidwell Excursions, students have the unique opportunity to work side by side with some of Sidwell’s renowned faculty and community members. Programs are primarily developed and led by educators within the Sidwell community who foster a student’s interest in exploring other cultures, environments and activities. Under the supervision of the leaders, students are exposed to new and challenging surroundings that teach independence, respect and appreciation through experiential learning.
