Explorers build their own schedule by choosing five different workshops. Each workshop meets daily for the week.
Are you exploring around for a fabulous place to create art; speak Spanish, French or Chinese; cook a delicious dessert; try out a new sport; be a castaway on Sidwell Survivor; or be the star of a play? Sidwell Summer’s Explorer Day Camp will allow you to be part of these activities and more! Explorer Day Camp is a place where campers can create their own adventure by trying out new activities each week! Applicants choose their weekly schedule when they apply, and workshops are filled on a first come, first registered basis.Campers rotate through five different workshops each day that are scheduled according to grade and camper selection. Workshops are led by dedicated adult teachers with wonderful counselor assistants who enjoy working with children. Click here for workshop descriptions. Camper schedules will be emailed to each camper before each session. Changes to a camper’s schedule will be based on workshop availability.
(Click here for workshop changes policy). Please note that effective June 30, 2008 ALL WORKSHOP CHANGE REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED by 4:00PM the FRIDAY BEFORE THE WORKSHOP CHANGE IS REQUIRED.
