Years with Sidwell Summer: 2008 will be the first!

This is my first summer at Sidwell.  I will be a junior next year at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University.  I am an early music voice major specializing in music before 1750.  I also hold a previous degree in social work from Seattle University. I am a professional singer.  I am twenty-seven-years-old, married and an avid music lover.  Among my performances this last year at Peabody, I was a soloist in a performance of Bach's St. Johns Passion, "Dido" in Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas" and a "knaben" in Mozart's "The Magic Flute".  This summer I can be seen as a soloist at Baltimore's art fesitval, Artscape among other venues.  This summer I am most excited about getting to know the campers and helping them have a fun and educational summer.  I am looking forward to having a lot of fun myself as well!  As a kid, I attended a fantastic horse camp outside of Seattle.  I have some fantastic memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.  I hope my previous experiences as both a camper and camp counselor will help contribute to making summer at Sidwell 2008 a memorable one.
