operating support for the School's budget. Annual Funds are on-going gifts of loyalty on
which the School depends to meet its annual expenses.

The four Annual Funds are
Fair Share (current parents),
Alumni Fund,
Grandparents Fund, and
Parents of Alumni & Friends Fund.
This year, Annual Funds will contribute $1,875,000 to the School.
This is an indispensable piece of the operating budget that enables
the School to fulfill its commitments to financial aid and to
faculty salaries, and to ensure the excellence of a Sidwell Friends
education.

Fair
Share
In the 2004-2005 School year, Fair Share parents raised more than half
of the Annual Funds total for the year and achieved a record 90%
participation rate. SFS parents have established a strong and valued
tradition of support for Sidwell Friends School. Under the leadership of
Fair Share Co-Chairs Chuck Muckenfuss and Betsy Wanger, the committee
hopes to surpass last year's goals and increase its already exemplary
participation level.

Alumni
Fund
In seeking $675,000 in alumni support, SFS is turning to those who know
the School best: its graduates. Under the leadership of Alumni Fund
Chair Bill Johnson '72 a host of enthusiastic alumni volunteers has been
assembled to contact each and every classmate, in the hopes that the
alumni body will rise to the occasion, meet its ambitious goal and
increase class participation.

Harold and Wilma Schneiberg, grandparents of Ali Hollman '06 and Max
Hollman '09, lead the effort to raise $125,000 for the Grandparents
Fund.
