Office of Alumni Relations
Mission:
The mission of the Office
of Alumni Relations is to strengthen the relationships
between Sidwell Friends School and its alumni, the alumni and
their alma mater, and the alumni and one another.
History:
The Office of Alumni Relations has grown from the work of a
few dedicated Alumni Secretaries to a full, professionally
staffed program supported by the work of hundreds of alumni
volunteers. Frances Sidwell was the first member of the
administration to work closely with the Alumni Association.
Her successors include Alumni Secretaries Helen Zartman, Janet
McPherson Brown '15 and Directors of Alumni Relations Betsy
Paul O'Connell '68, Louisa Schneiberg Hollman '80 and Debora
Hirshberg Noone '69.
