Rodrigo is thinking about the contents of a piggy bank.

A piggy bank had coins in it that added up to equal $4.00. 

When the coins were spread out and counted, half of the $4.00 was in quarters,

one fourth of it was in dimes and

one hundred four-hundredths was in pennies.
